Freckled Hawkfish – Anilao

This is an extreme close-up, head-on shot of a Freckled Hawkfish. This guy photo bombed another image I was trying to take by rushing up to my lens. It is a predatory fish species found in Indo-Pacific coral reefs. This species is characterized by the distinct orange or reddish spots covering its head and body. The image was taken off Anilao near Batangas Philippines.
