Snowflake Moray Eel – Anilao
This close-up, head-on shot focuses on a snowflake moray eel peeking out from a dark underwater crevice. The eel’s head dominates the frame, with its body extending to the left and back in it’s hiding spot. Its snout is light gray with two small, bright yellow nostrils and a slightly open mouth revealing a pale interior. The eel’s eyes are bright yellow with black pupils, giving it an alert and intense gaze.
The most striking feature of the eel is its intricate skin pattern. The area around its head and upper body is covered in a dense network of irregular, black markings interspersed with bright yellow spots and blotches. Further down its body, the pattern transitions to broader, dark bands alternating with lighter, speckled areas.
